Does the telephone connection to my satellite TV (Directv) DVR have to be filtered if I have DSL? - dvr connections
I have DSL. Each phone jack in the house has put a filter on the phone company available. I ordered a cell phone in my new satellite TV (DirecTV) DVR. Hard Wire I want it in the attic. But that would mean the phone rings, connected to my DVR is not filtered. Is that correct or phone connection, satellite TV has to be filtered, if I ADSL?

I have 5 DirecTV Tivo units on my DirecTV bill. When I was still having to have to connect to a DSL filter connected. My device is not properly updated guide or sometimes confusion with other phones on the line. Now the filter is to filter some additional information that comes over the telephone wiring.
Now, remember, you use the DSL works on the telephone line has a different frequency than the frequencies used by the phone. So all this chaos, a signal receiver can DirecTV / DVR. You can not now, but you want to burn your own risk Receiver / DVR 's modem? When I bought my DSL, they sent me about 5 or six DSL filters, so always sit around some. I have seen in electronics stores like Fry's Electronics for fairly cheap. No damage to your receiver / DVR HAVE A in the filter, can not hurt but it was on. So, you play on the safe side ..
I hope this helps you decide if you have any questions, please send me an e-mail ..
This happened once to me. I said no, that's ridiculous! no telephone, did not respond, only the caller ID is replaced.
an installer of telephone, said that each device must have a filter. I know nothing about the use of the phone DIRECTV.
Filters, but they are cheap and free of most ADSL providers.
I've never had a filter in the devices the phone when I had ADSL, but if you have a problem, try.
